Usman "Osi" Parekh owns and operates Crown Jewelers in the upscale outdoor mall, Brookhaven, in Norman, Oklahoma. He launched his Norman location with his wife, Fatima, in 2000, when the couple moved their thriving jewelry business from their Oklahoma City location, where they had been operating an upscale establishment since 1996. Parekh came to the U. S. with a chemistry degree from Bombay University in India.
He holds an undergraduate degree in speech communications and a graduate degree in mass communications from Oklahoma University, and speaks with great pride and gratitude about the debt he owes OU for his sponsorship.
