The Raincross symbol was patented in 1908 by Frank A. Miller, founder of the Mission Inn, and his architect, Arthur B. Benton.
Intent on giving Riverside a special image, they drew on local history and culture.
Elements of the Raincross logo include a replica of Father Junipero Serra's mass bell, a wooden frame, and a double-armed cross from Miller's collection.
The double-armed cross is an ancient Anasazi symbol known as the "Indian Raincross, " representing the dragonfly that comes with the summer rains.

Appraisals for Insurance, Estate, Fair Market Value, etc.- Written document including 2 copies, digital photo and archiving, $100 per item.
Gemological Consultation- verbal information for knowing what you have and it's approximate value.
