Graduated from North Texas State University, Denton, TX with a B.A. in Home Economics and a Teaching Certification.
After graduation form Texas Tech University, Dan managed retail jewelry departments for over six years in Texas and California for Best Products Co., Inc. and Finlay Fine Jewelry.
Taking a break from retail, Dan went to work for "Ma Bell" in Los Angeles and transferred to Dallas, Texas just before AT&T was broken into the seven operating Bell companies.
Through the years, Dan held various non-management and management positions in residential business office, yellow page sales and customer service, FCC regulatory compliance, SBC's E-Channel online presence development, and retiring after more than 25 years as a Senior Project Manager in Information Technology Operations.
