Orocal's roots started humbly, a number of generations ago, by Jack Conner.
Jack was a watchmaker and owned a retail jewelry store.
Jack's son Roy Conner began wholesaling nugget jewelry in 1965, after which 3rd Generation David Conner added Gold Bearing Quartz Jewelry to the line in the 1980's and marketed it to tourists visiting the Alaska area.
Since then, Orocal is operated by General Manager Charles Conner.
