Don Brown, owner of Don's Jewelry & Design and Master IJO Jeweler, has been serving Washington and the surrounding areas with their jewelry needs for over 50 years.
Don first became interested in jewelry upon completion of high school in 1968 when he answered a local ad as an apprentice for jewelry repair at Logan Jewelry. As an apprentice, Don learned all aspects of the jewelry business and by 1978 he was offered the opportunity for part ownership in Logan Jewelry. Don's wife, Shirley Brown, was a behind the scenes partner doing the bookwork and occasionally working on the sales floor part-time.
In 2001, Shirley began to work full-time and has become very knowledgeable in all aspects of the jewelry business. Don and Shirley's daughter, Karen Kuhlman, graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Finance.

In Antwerp, we deal directly with the dimond cutters with no middle-men or brokers involved.
This provides an incremental value in eliminating one level of the normal distribution channels.
