Years ago, I began painting in watercolors and moved on to oils. This past year, I discovered alcohol inks and fell in love! Combine that with my love for jewelry and My Art You Wear Jewelry was born. With some necklaces, I use alcohol inks to do a painting on yupo paper. Then, I put the art into a metal pendant tray and rub it with a micro glaze so that the inks won't smear.
Last of all, I protect the work with a clear, ice resin. With other necklaces, I use copper, bronze, or stainless steel blanks. I apply Fantasy paint to achieve color and design. Then, I protect the art with ice resin and assemble the metal blanks. These necklaces are unique and fun! They evolve as I evolve. I am always exploring and trying new things.
