J.A. Jewelers & Co. was founded in 2006 by two local brothers John and Adam Kinney. John worked for a couple of different local jewelry stores as well as two well known national jewelry stores giving him, at one point, the title of "Manager of the Year". Adam is a graduate of NM Highlands with a degree in Business Management with a minor in finance.
Both demonstrate outstanding service skills in addition to building customer relationships. With the combination of jewelry experience and business management, they both decided to start working for themselves. They quickly made a great impression to any customer they were fortunate enough to come across. Over the years they always had a desire to grow the business, but it never happened just the way they wanted.
So in the latter part of 2008, they moved to a new location of Farmington, the Foothills Plaza shopping center. Since the beginning in the new location, they've enjoyed great success in easier access and visibility which brought more customers in to see the great collections and experience the exceptional customer service.
