The designs I create are meant for those that desire the unique. Each piece has come from my life, my clients, the study of art, history and architecture and waking up at 3 am. Mostly it comes from the words "what if?" I love texture, sensuous shapes and ease of wearing. In my 50s I started creating jewelry and with the desire to create more and to become professional at it all thoughts of retirement went out the door.
I went back to school and started my life over. From 2000 to 2003 I created jewelry using Phoenix College and the Mining and Mineral Museum as well as books for my education. In 2004 and 2005 I complete diplomas at GIA in design and gemology as well as completing the Jewelry Technician program at Revere. From these wonderful schools I learned the traditional and new techniques of creating jewelry.
I added a wonderful tool to my box when I started designing using Computer Aided Design. I continued creating clasps and components to use in my jewelry. Friends asked if I would sell these components to them so I did.
