Twenty years ago, founder Dolores Forsythe, after retiring from her consulting business, traveled with her husband to many foreign countries.
During a trip to Vietnam, Dolores was moved by the plight of the Vietnamese women and wanted to help.
After lengthy discussions with the Director of the Vietnamese Women's Union she offered to help in two ways.
One by bringing their beautiful pearl jewelry to the U.S. market and secondly by contributing to a micro loan program which would help women become more self-reliant in starting their own businesses.

We also custom design pearl pieces, and provide re-knotting for customers whose pearls are in need of extra care.
