After returning from service in World War II, Harold Finkle began his career in the jewelry industry as district manager of Rudolph Jewelers, overseeing seven of their forty-nine stores.
Deciding to go out on his own, Harold, with the help of his wife Sarah, opened up a store on "the Ave, " Central Avenue in Albany, New York.
As Harold Finkle Your Jeweler gained customers and notability, Harold and Sarah decided to move from 207 to 217 Central Avenue.
