The Gem Mine was started in 1970 with stores first in Dumont, then Bergenfield.
Moving to Teaneck in 1975, we became established as a down-to-earth place to encounter and purchase beautiful specimens, decorative natural items, and unique jewelry.
In addition, we became known as the place to bring any type of broken jewelry for repair.
Relocating to Westwood in 1996, The Gem Mine continues the tradition so proudly built upon, even while expanding the variety of its inventory and services.
