I bought my wife's engagement ring from a jeweler that previously occupied the space in the Clark Building the Rothschild's has now. We stopped by on a stroll down memory lane while visiting Pittsburgh this weekend and met Becky and David. Both are amazing and my wife loves the new purchases. What a great experience buying an anniversary band! Patrick helped me customize a diamond anniversary band to match my engagement ring that is nearly 20 years old. He first made a model of my new ring using a 3-D printer, which helped confirm it was perfect. It was all completed efficiently and at a very fair price. I would highly recommend his work- thank you!

I got my wife her wedding band from this jewelry store. The staff were so helpful in getting me the band that would match perfectly to the ring. They designed every detail and we're very informative of the process. My wife also gets her ring cleaned there as well. I highly recommend and will be coming back again!

I walked in here with absolutely no idea how engagement rings worked or what they cost or anything. I originally tried to go to another place but their doors were closed and the employees didn't seem to notice me. When I came to Rothschild the doors were wide open so I walked right in and was immediately greeted and offered assistance. In just a few trips working primarily with Evonne, I left with a beautiful ring at a cost I was very comfortable with.
I was never pressured or felt compelled to do anything I wasn't comfortable with. I was presented options within my budget and according my specifications. It was as seamless a process as I could have hoped for. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. The entire staff was extremely patient and polite. It was exactly what I was hoping for.

My intention was to just browse and see their inventory, but I walked away with so much knowledge about diamonds. Paul did an absolutely stunning job with my engagement ring. My fiance and I used his late mother's diamond and had it redesigned. Paul was so patient with us and really created a one of a kind piece that I will cherish forever. He also created a stunning necklace composed of my fiances dad's and mother's wedding bands. He is so innovative and we are simply in love with the pieces he has created.
We look forward to working with him for years to come! Since I had written my review, I had a few complications with my ring. Emma was absolutely great to work with and very responsive. Her and Paul revised my ring quickly and turned it into a great experience. They were very accommodating and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Diamonds By Rothschild provided me with a unique bespoke jewelry experience. It started when Paul and I discussed my objectives for my wife's 10th anniversary ring. I wanted something as unique and beautiful as she is, Paul delivered. The process was seamless and I was kept informed on the custom project along the way. The final outcome is perfect.

I purchased a custom designed eternity ring that thrilled my wife. They employ a unique software that takes an idea and brings it to life. They softened the edges, set the diamonds close to the core which created a very comfortable beautiful fit for my wife. They were very accommodating and no 'heavy' sales approach. We went to Paul back when he had his shop, Paul Michael Design. My now husband and I custom designed my engagement ring using a stone from a family heirloom. He worked with us with such patience, creativity, and care. He used technology so we could see the ring as we designed it before he then 3D printed it. We felt totally confident that the final product would be perfect.
He spent so much undistracted time with us that we felt like we his only customers. We loved working with Paul so much that when it came time to get our wedding bands, we went to Paul at Diamonds by Rothschild. We had a similar experience and love the final products. Paul goes above and beyond and we cannot recommend him enough.

I was looking for a ring to match my wife's wedding band. I had explored another jeweler in the north hills and was told that they could order something and the pricing would be double what I paid for the band. A friend recommended I try Diamonds by Rothschild and I found the exact ring I was looking for in their wide selection and the pricing was less than 1/2 of what I was quoted from the other store.
The team there was knowledgeable and friendly and I could not have had a better experience. I have had horrible Experiences with many of the popular jewelers in Pittsburgh and it was refreshing to find a group who actually cared and was interested in providing me what I wanted, not what they wanted to sell me.

I visited this jeweler twice- once to browse for engagement rings with my then-boyfriend, and again with my now-fiance to have the beautiful ring he picked out resized. Both experiences were incredible. Paul was personable, knowledgeable, and not the slightest bit pushy. When we were just looking for ideas he met us where we were at in the process and offered creative advice while taking into account our tastes and what we were looking for.

Paul has taken care of our families jewelry needs for many years. The quality of his work exceeds our expectations and his prices are unmatched anywhere else we've been. Paul Michael is wonderful. Truly had an excellent experience with him. He designed a custom engagement ring for us and even let us pour the molten metal into the mold. That is an experience my fiance and I will treasure. Also amazing at repairs and upkeep. He cleaned and refurbished my grandmother's ring to look like new. Would (and do) recommend him to everyone!

Paul is a creative genius. His work is stunning. His studio and shop have great energy. The custom ring he made for me to give as a gift is legendary. Yes, legendary. I came in with a half baked sketch, and he made a piece of art. Needless to say, he is also very skilled. I'd trust him to repair any jewelry. I have now gotten two pieces of jewelry made by this jeweler and I am beyond pleased with the results. For my second piece, I went into my jewelry appointment not knowing what I wanted and walked out having ordered a beautiful and unique piece of jewelry that perfectly captured the beauty of my gemstone. Amazing experience from start to finish. Paul first sat down and started designing with us immediately. He listened to our ideas and made sure to incorporate and enhance them with each iteration. When it was time to cast our three rings, we even got to pour the molten white gold ourselves. So cool and a truly special experience! Paul and his team made sure we got the perfect rings. I made an account just to do a review because Paul's work is so worth it. My fiance and I are huge Star Wars nerds and we wanted to have my engagement ring reflect that if possible. I searched online and found myself at Paul's site eagerly looking at the R2-D2 custom rings. His business worked with us extensively to adapt a current design in order to make it uniquely our own and we couldn't be more pleased. It's a gorgeous ring and I'm proud to wear it. Had to wait a few days to make this review because I didn't want my fiance to see it before I asked her. Paul did an incredible job. I am speechless on how easy he made (what I thought would be a painful, drawn out experience) getting engagement ring. It is one of a kind, and incredibly done. My fiance literally can't stop saying how beautiful the ring is. Go there if you are buying jewelry for the one you love.
