Rohr Jewelry was established in 1951 by Alfred J Rohr in the city of Hays, Kansas. Al began as a watch repairman and moved into other areas of sales in coming years. Current owner Michael Rohr (son of Alfred Rohr) grew up in the jewelry business starting with minor jewelry repairs and clocks. Michael and his wife Susan, purchased Hankins Jewelers in
