I opened Mystique over 25 years ago out of my passion and fascination with diamonds and unusual gemstones. The concept that diamonds have been buried in the earth for millions of years and form into these gorgeous gemstones is fascinating to me. Diamonds have decorated kings and inspired poets. They become heirlooms for our children and future generations.
After receiving my graduate degree in gemology and completing an apprenticeship with a master goldsmith, the mystique of diamonds became my obsession, and the inception of Mystique Fine Jewelry and Design in 1991 in Old Town Alexandria.
