LaGravinese Jewelers is a 4th Generation Family Business, founded by Dominick Lagravinese in 1917.
Dominick came to The United States from Italy in 1901.
He started as a diamond setter in New York City.
Eventually, Dominick's son, Bob, moved the family business to Westchester County in 1964.
His son, Robert, opened LaGravinese Jewelers in Bronxville, NY in 1976.
Today Robert still owns the store, working with his wife, Julianna, and his children, Robby, Matthew, and Karina.
Robert Lagravinese: Robert graduated from the Gemological Institute of America in 1975 and later taught at the school.
